VectorOne was founded by a serial entrepreneur who successfully built a half-billion-dollar financial services firm from scratch. As a result, VectorOne has massive insight into the Office of the CFO and has already secured VC funding for the next several years. The Role
We’re looking for a Data Scientist who loves building models, running experiments, and bringing intelligence into products. You’ll translate workflows into models, test fast, and collaborate with engineers to make models production-ready.
What You’ll Do
- Design/train/evaluate models (NLP, anomaly detection, automation).
- Experiment quickly and build reusable model scaffolding.
- Collaborate with engineers to productionize models.
- Work with product leads/SMEs to embed intelligence into workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- PhD in Data Science or a related quantitative field strongly preferred; Master’s degree with equivalent experience considered acceptable.
- Strong Python/ML stack (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Can spot problems in data curated by the engineering team and can provide feedback that enables them to fix it.
- Strong commitment to the discipline of data science and applying it to create differentiated business outcomes.
